CROCO

Tiphaine Koltes × Jeremy Spierer

Galerie Fahid Taghavi, Geneva
Opening Thursday 19 November 2026, from 6 pm

On one side, the paint gathers, raw, colour pulled straight from the knife. On the other, the grain of the flash fixes naked bodies in a black and white that forgives nothing. Two materials, two speeds, two ways of saying the same thing: animality, the wild and the raw in human beings.

The works advance towards one another and, at the centre, they bite. Out of this collision comes the crocodile: the only large predator to have crossed the ages without changing shape, it embodies a permanence our era, given over entirely to speed and obsolescence, has lost.

CROCO does not set two worlds side by side: it fuses them into a single organism, tender and ferocious at once, where eroticism returns to instinct and colour becomes wound again.

Works are available for purchase ahead of the opening. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and confirmed in writing.
